Role Overview
- Job title: MRI Tech
- Location: Albany, New York
- Employment type: Long-term assignment
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM preferred; 4:00 PM–12:00 AM also listed
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine MRI exams
- Scan inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
- Work independently
- Not responsible for breast MRI, cardiac MRI, or prostate MRI
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
- MRI Technologist (3 years of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARMRIT
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT preferred or ARMRIT certified
Work Environment
- Hospital setting with 450 beds
- MRI equipment includes 3T Siemens Skyra and 1.5T Siemens Symphony
- EMR: Epic
