Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Weekend call approximately every 4th to 5th weekend
Weeknight call approximately every 1 to 2 weeks
Holiday call rotation
Shift options:
- 36-hour shifts: 09:00–18:30 or 06:00–18:30
- 40-hour shifts: 08:00–18:30

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Background and Compliance Requirements

Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering the last 7 years, including SSN verification (dated within 30 days of start)
Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, and dependent adult & child abuse registry checks (within 30 days prior to start)
Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC) with MRO signature
Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality and Security Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services, Non-Employee Upload, System Access Form, and other required professional forms completed and signed
Exclusion screenings including EPLS, OIG, OFAC, NSO, and Joint Commission CORE exam (all dated within 30 days of start)
