Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Unit: Operating Room (OR Tech)
Number of Suites: 17
Average Cases per Day: 37
Common Case Types: Orthopedic Trauma/Joints, Robotics, Neuro/Spine, Plastics, ENT, Urology, Level 1 Trauma

Shift options: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, or 7a-5p (mostly self-scheduled; generally no block scheduling)
Call requirements:
- Weeknights: 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks
- Weekends: No call unless assistance is needed
- Holidays: Call required
Call response time: 2 hours
No floating within the facility; floating within the zone only in extreme need
Dress code: Blue surgical scrubs provided

Unit-specific orientation: 2 days
Night shifts during orientation: 7p-7a with minimal to no call
Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote

A valid driver’s license must be submitted
Radius requirement: within 60 miles
Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
Call-out policy: One call-out allowed every 4 weeks; a warning will be issued before notifying agency/recruiter
Notice requirements to avoid penalty fees:
- 2 weeks’ notice required if backing out after accepting the assignment
- 5 days’ notice required if backing out prior to start date
