Role Overview

• Travel RN assignment in the Emergency Department
• Unit has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
• Patient ratio is 1:4
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule includes every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH Certification
• ENPC

Unit Details

• Typical procedures include NIH, IV/blood draws, Moderate Sedation, TNK, and Cardiac monitoring
• Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and a portable EKG machine
• EMR: Meditech
• Floating area: N/A
• Dress code: royal blue scrubs
