Overview

Travel RN PACU assignment
Unit: Post Anesthesia Care – P11236
1 opening
36 guaranteed hours per week
Shift: 9:00a–9:30p
Weekend requirement: 1 weekend Sat/Sun
Holiday requirement: If needed Christmas Eve, Christmas day 2nd call
On-call requirement: If needed, 2nd call
Duration: 13+ weeks preferred
Unit has 16 beds
Patient ratio: 2:1
Patient population: 6 months to geriatrics
Float scope: sister units as needed for helping hands; on-campus surgery center as case volume shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
Preoperative experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Titrate Drips
Cardia
Multi Speciality

Additional Notes

Epic experience is required
