Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Job Type

Travel assignment
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: 4 East, 30 beds
Patient ratio: 1:6
Staffing includes Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, Patient Care Technicians, and Case Management
Equipment used: walkers, IV pumps, sequential compression devices (SCDs), etc.
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule, includes holiday rotation
Floating: Rotation with other staff
Patient experience goal: 72% utilization of communication boards

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
Unit and hospital policies apply
Opportunity to work with experienced staff and utilize current equipment and technology
