High-acuity floor
Must be willing to work assigned shifts; no block schedules
No requested time off
Patient ratio: 5:1
Patient population includes surgical, gunshot, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients
Nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary are available
ED nurse and admitting unit complete a nurse handoff
