Overview

• Role: CT Scan Technologist

• Location: Old Bridge, New Jersey
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Hours: 3 x 12s, 36 hours per week
• Weekends required
• No holiday requirement
• On-call: Optional
• No float requirement

Role Summary

Performs CT procedures and related techniques to produce sectional and three-dimensional images, and assists with interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
• High School diploma or equivalent
• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Radiological positioning of the human body
• Understanding mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware
• Thorough knowledge of PACS system
• General CT with and without contrast
• CTAs
• Perfusion
• Usage of GE Revolution CT Scanner
• EPIC

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months CT experience
• ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license
• Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital

Additional Expectations

• Maintains CEU credits
• Must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire
• Must complete BLS within 3 months of hire
• Scheduled shifts include holidays and weekends
• Overtime and on-call assignments as needed
• Lifts at least 25 lbs, pushes and pulls at least 50 lbs, and stands at least 6 hours per day
