- Night shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Overview
- Provides independent nursing care in labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, patient teaching, counseling, treatment support, delegation, supervision, documentation, and referral as needed.
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Registered Nurse experience
- 2+ years of experience
- Extensive labor and delivery experience
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS as appropriate for the unit or service
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
