Respiratory Therapist – NICU
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start: ASAP
- Shift: Nights, 3x12
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted
- RTO limit: 1 week maximum
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with Epic
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekend coverage required as needed by the unit
- Floating within the hospital required
- On-call not required
- Does not float to sister hospitals
- Does not accommodate block scheduling unless otherwise stated
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- Pending license not accepted
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- State license verification required
- Drug screen required
- Physical exam required
- Fit testing required
- Tdap vaccination required within 10 years of start
- TB clearance required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and COVID documentation or declination required
- Color blind testing required
- Competency exam required
- EPIC/Alaris integration attestation required
- Photo for badge required
- Department checklist required
- PCIS agreement required
- Email setup and learning modules required
- WA license complaint clearance required for candidates using a Washington State license
