Job Overview

Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
May be scheduled for day shifts as needed
Weekend rotation and on-call required
True float position; traveler floats 100% of the time

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

Must review and sign required pre-start employment and policy documents
Must complete required background, health screening, and work history verification items before start
Unit-specific skills checklist required
Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application with no gaps

Work Setting Notes

Float coverage may include multiple campuses within the same health system
Mid-shift floating is rare; reassignment is typically communicated before the shift starts
