Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado
Night shifts, various days of the week
13-week contract
Unit has 32 beds
Typical ratios: 1:3 couplets, or up to 6 patients
Unit serves postpartum patients who do not need ICU-level care, newborn patients who do not need NICU-level care, and high-risk patient populations
Float scope: Antepartum-trained staff float to L&D with fetal monitoring experience
Call required
Weekend requirement per unit needs
Charting system: Epic
Scrub color: Blue Navy

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Post Partum experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Antepartum experience
Labor and Delivery experience

Antepartum patients with fetal monitoring experience
Newborns 2000 gm and above
Late preterm
Substance-exposed newborns
Phototherapy
Magnesium drips
Insulin drips
Heparin drips

RTO not allowed during:
- September 2–September 12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027
