Location
- Orangeburg, South Carolina
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role
- 13-week contract
- Day shift, Monday–Friday
- Hours vary by campus: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM at one location and 7:00 AM–3:30 PM at the main campus
- Rotating call is required
- May float between general nuclear medicine and cardiology
- May rotate between two campuses with other full-time staff
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Start date is expected 2–3 weeks after offer
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in South Carolina
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (3 years of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification
Experience Needed
- Bone scans, including whole body and 3-phase
- HIDA scans
- GI bleed studies
- Lymphoscintigraphy
- Parathyroid imaging
- Thyroid uptake studies
- Renal scans with Lasix
- Lung scans
- MUGA scans
- WBC infection imaging
- MPI stress tests
Schedule Notes
- Weekend coverage is call only
- Holiday coverage is call only
- Block scheduling may be considered with prior approval, but is not guaranteed
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Additional Notes
- Radius rule: 60 miles
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
- Teal top and black bottom scrubs
- Epic charting
- Level II trauma, acute care hospital
- Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams from June through November
