Shift: 1430 - 2300 (2:30 PM to 11:00 PM)
Hours per week: 40 hours
Call: Every 3rd weekend, usually volunteer basis; call shifts are 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM
Holidays: Included in call schedule
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2; can increase up to 1:4 during overflow situations

Assignment Note: May be assigned to an Emergency Team during events, requiring staying onsite until the event passes or serving on relief teams

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care, with experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated monthly
- Sex offender search within 30 days of start, updated monthly
Education Verification: Primary or 3rd party verification of highest education level required
License Verification: Must be completed within 30 days of start
Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start; must be initiated within 24-48 hours of offer acceptance
Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start, indicating good physical health

- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
