ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 18:45 - 7:15)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with floating to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 2 patients
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, working 3 out of 6 weekends on a rotating schedule
• Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks from offer due to compliance tier; biweekly start dates available
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• Locals accepted if within 75-mile radius (local rate applies)
• No pending licenses accepted
• No on-call required
• No block scheduling accommodations
• Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: No more than 7 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Minimum 2 years of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
