Provide nursing care based on the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and physicians to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Provide direction and oversight to licensed and non-licensed staff.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in various clinical settings with diverse populations.
Educate patients’ families and support discharge and aftercare planning.
Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff in individual and group settings.
Document and report all necessary patient information according to policies.
Monitor and report any potential safety risks to physicians.
Function as a clinical leader by delegating and coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resource management.
May be responsible for training direct care staff, medication oversight, scheduling, staffing, and obtaining pre-authorizations.
Uphold professional image and organizational values including integrity, stewardship, empowerment, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Provide spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical support to patients.
Support and promote a recovery-focused, person-centered approach in community residential settings.
May function as a charge nurse.
Maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in required programmatic training.

Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Michigan.
Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience.
Pediatric experience required.
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm for behavioral health programs.

Opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week with potential for additional shifts (up to 48 hours), though extra shifts are not guaranteed.
