Overview
- Travel/contract role in New York, New York
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- In-person interview required
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate food service operations and nutrition components for childcare centers, after school programs, day care homes, adult day cares, and shelters participating in CACFP
- Conduct on-site program reviews
- Provide training and technical assistance on record keeping, meal planning, and program regulations
- Approve or disapprove corrective action plans
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Good organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Professional approach to working with program staff and the public
