Medical Surgical Neuro RN
Role
- Travel/Contract RN on a Neuro unit
Schedule
- Night shift: 18:45–07:15
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 or 48-hour contracts accepted
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Float required
- Weekend requirement: 12–16 weekend shifts per contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Neurosurgery experience
Preferred
- ACLS
- CPI
- NIHSS
- Neuro experience
Unit Details
- Neuro unit
- Patient diagnoses/procedures include Neuro Surgical Procedures and Neuro diagnoses
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- May be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team
- May be required to report during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster
- Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur
- May be preassigned to units as needed
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Navy scrubs
