Shift: Night shift (7 days on, 7 days off), 20:00 - 06:30
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Later Transition: Position will transition to day shift (July/August) to cover a pharmacist on FMLA through 1/13/2027
Floating: No floating between units
On-call: Not required
Patient Population: Pediatric focus; hospital experience with some pediatric exposure required

Beds: 181 staffed beds

Valid Clinical Pharmacist license in Texas
Minimum of 1 year of clinical pharmacist experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with pediatric patients

Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
Immunizations/vaccinations:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination accepted
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
COVID-19 vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
Fit mask test required for travel candidates, updated annually

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Social Security Card (as applicable)
Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
Education verification required
Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start
Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates

Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
Compliance with float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)
