Job Description
- Provide nursing care on Med/Surg Telemetry unit with potential to float to related units including Emergency Department.
- Work 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (day or night) with rotating shifts possible to meet operational needs.
- Shifts:
- Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Must work at least every other holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio.
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current certifications:
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
Orientation & Onboarding
- Completion of online training modules prior to start is mandatory.
- Modules must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome; video content must be watched before testing.
- Orientation includes baseline competency exams for medication administration and ECG interpretation.
- Photo for badge required.
- Must submit all required documentation and complete onboarding steps before clearance to start.
Additional Information
- Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; facility will also conduct fingerprinting onsite.
- Candidates can start with fingerprint results pending if fingerprinting is completed prior to start.
- Candidates must carry a government-issued photo ID while on assignment.
- Traveler must be prepared to float to related units caring for similar patient populations.
- Documentation and compliance with all health and safety requirements are strictly enforced.

This travel nursing assignment requires a Registered Nurse with strong Med/Surg Telemetry experience, valid Ohio licensure, and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts with holiday work expectations and comprehensive onboarding including competency testing and health screenings.
