Registered Nurse – Home Health
Location: Meridian, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Days
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Job Overview
- Provide home health nursing care within the Treasure Valley region.
- Manage 5-6 routine patient visits per day.
- Travel time between patient visits is typically kept to 15-20 minutes by assigning clinicians to tight geographical areas.
- Weekend on-call rotation and evening availability required.
- Documentation primarily done using EPIC Remote Client; issued laptop and phone provided.
- Orientation includes starting and ending the day in the office paired with a preceptor; after orientation, nurses may start and end their day at home.
- Patient appointment cancellations are managed by pulling visits forward to maintain a full schedule.
- Overtime availability offered.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
- Minimum of 5 years of home health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in a home health setting
