Contract Length

Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Block scheduling
- Every other weekend
- Must be available for at least half of the holidays during the assignment

- Long-term care nursing home attached to a hospital
- 70 residents, mostly private rooms
Patient Population
- Dementia
- Frail elderly
- Rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Charting
- Assessments
- Charge nurse duties
- Medication administration
- Clinical skills including IVs, catheters, and ostomy care
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Elderly care experience
Additional Details
- IVs and titratable drips are present
- No telemetry monitors
- No on-call requirement
- Floating required
- Any solid-color, clean, professional scrubs
- Unit orientation varies based on skills
