Job Details

• Specialty: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) RN
• Location: Luverne, Minnesota
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days and Nights (6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 6pm-6:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Bed Count: 51 beds
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 2 nurses during the day, 1 nurse overnight
• EMR System: PCC
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday after Labor Day (Labor Day is required)
• Shift Length: Mostly 12-hour shifts, some 8-hour shifts
• Orientation: 2 hours with lead team plus 1-2 shifts shadowing another staff member
• Patient Population: Dementia and geriatrics
• Charge Nurse: Must be able to take charge

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Skilled Nursing experience with 2 years of experience
• Skilled Nursing experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in Charge roles

Additional Information

• No on-call or call-back shifts available or billable
• Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice incur a $500 fee
• Local pay rates apply within 80 miles or if using employer housing (note: pay details not included)
