Overview
- Travel RN assignment in Labor and Delivery/OBED-707
- Location: Womens Hospital
- Shift: 7A-7P
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start dates: Tuesday
Unit Details
- Unit has 23 beds
- Floating is within womens: PP/Ante
- On-call requirement: 1 shift every 4 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year or more of total travel experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with High Risk OB patients
- Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips
Preferred Qualifications
- OBED experience
- High risk/high volume experience
Clinical Responsibilities
- All high risk OB care
- Magnesium drips
- Insulin drips
- Circulate
- Scrub
Additional Notes
- Requested time off must be approved by the facility
- If time off is approved, the candidate must work three shifts those weeks, plus 2 major winter holidays and 1 minor winter holiday
- Team-oriented and busy environment
