Job Overview

Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12s, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Weekend requirement: Rotating weekends
On-call: Up to 4 call shifts per month and 1 weekend shift per month
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units/sister facilities
First-timers accepted: Yes

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NBSTSA certification

Preferred Experience

Neuro cases, including spines/crani
ENT cases, including flaps
Robotics cases, including DaVinci Xi

Work Setting

Level I trauma center
Teaching facility
Magnet hospital
Main OR supports a broad surgical case mix, including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU/GYN, and robotics

Additional Notes

Scrub color is provided
EPIC is used for charting
Local candidates are accepted
Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams
Parking requires a permit and a $20 registration fee for a hang tag; additional parking fees may apply outside the garage
