Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - SICU
Location
- Charlottesville, Virginia

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Description
- Surgical/Trauma ICU
- Fast-paced 15-bed intensive care unit
- Level 1 facility
- Adult critical care patients (surgical and trauma)
Shift Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3 shifts per week)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
- Time off: 40 hours can be approved; no return to office (RTO) approval for Memorial Day weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
