Job Summary
- Pediatric IV Therapy RN position requiring ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder experience.
- Must have experience on a pediatric vascular access team.
- Pediatric Vascular Access Specialist (VAS) experience required, including exposure to Hematology-Oncology, ICU, and care for pediatric to adult populations.
- IV placement skills are essential.
- Day/Night rotation with 12-hour shifts.
- Shift start times rotate between:
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
- 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Weekend work required.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted.

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of vascular access experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Ultrasound-guided IV placement experience
- Vein finder experience
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Requirements
- Proof of name change if applicable.
- Massachusetts statewide iCORI release must be completed within 60 days of start.
- Background checks must be initiated within 24 hours of booking and updated annually.
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (not required for APN).
- Physical and health requirements must be completed within 90 days of start.
- Flu and COVID Smartsheet attestations required if vaccines completed outside the facility.
- Onsite fit testing will be completed; virtual Respiratory Safety questionnaire required prior to start.
- Flu and COVID exemption forms must be completed and submitted if applicable.
Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night.
- Weekend shifts required.
This position is ideal for a pediatric RN with vascular access expertise seeking a travel contract in a high-acuity, Magnet-recognized acute care setting with advanced pediatric services.
