Job Summary

• Pediatric IV Therapy RN position requiring ultrasound-guided IV placement and vein finder experience.
• Must have experience on a pediatric vascular access team.
• Pediatric Vascular Access Specialist (VAS) experience required, including exposure to Hematology-Oncology, ICU, and care for pediatric to adult populations.
• IV placement skills are essential.
• Day/Night rotation with 12-hour shifts.
• Shift start times rotate between:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Weekend work required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of vascular access experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Ultrasound-guided IV placement experience
• Vein finder experience
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements

• Proof of name change if applicable.
• Massachusetts statewide iCORI release must be completed within 60 days of start.
• Background checks must be initiated within 24 hours of booking and updated annually.
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (not required for APN).
• Physical and health requirements must be completed within 90 days of start.
• Flu and COVID Smartsheet attestations required if vaccines completed outside the facility.
• Onsite fit testing will be completed; virtual Respiratory Safety questionnaire required prior to start.
• Flu and COVID exemption forms must be completed and submitted if applicable.

Shift Details

• 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night.
• Weekend shifts required.
