Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Daily caseload varies by shift and location
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities
- No on-call required
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 6 months (0.5 years) of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Copy of Driver’s License and Social Security Card required
- Complete and accurate I-9 form and E-Verify attestation required
- Annual background check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years, including multiple specific searches (SSN trace, statewide, national criminal, sex offender registry, FACIS 3, international if applicable)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
- Education verification required; diploma or transcripts accepted as placeholder if needed
- Proof of 2 clinical references required
- Employment application/resume with all PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
- Last 3 clinical employers verified through a 3rd party vendor (attestation letters accepted only if verification exhausted)
- Radiation badge process must be followed; candidates cannot start without badge
- Color blindness testing required prior to start
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency exams required as applicable
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam updated annually, attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Fit test for N95 mask (O&M Halyard FLUIDSHIELD or 3M Aura 1870+) within 90 days prior to start, renewed annually
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination form required
- Negative TB test (T-spot or Q-Gold) within 90 days or proof of positive with follow-up chest x-ray
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Immunizations or proof of immunity required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (documentation deadline December 5th)
- COVID vaccination highly preferred; if declined, must complete vaccination declination form
Orientation and Facility Specifics
- Orientation modules (approx. 2 hours) must be completed prior to start; failure to complete results in being sent home
- First Day Instructions (FDI) and OurDay platform access provided after clearance
- Passport-style badge photo required by Wednesday end of day prior to start (frontal view, solid light background, business casual attire, no hats or sunglasses)
- Radius rule: 60 miles; local candidates accepted case-by-case at reduced rate
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

- Floating to sister facilities may be required within scope of practice
- All required documents and certifications must be current and not expiring within 30 days of start
- Agencies must provide radiation exposure reports monthly or quarterly as required
