Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification and Siemens scanner experience.

Details

• Work setting is a 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital
• CT unit with Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7) scanners
• Daily caseload varies by shift and location
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
• No on-call requirement
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Active ARRT RT(R)(CT) and SCRQSA R(CT) certifications required
• Current BLS (AHA) required
• Siemens scanner experience required
• SC license must be in hand at time of start; license required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted provided they have the required prior clinical experience
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration; approval is based on unit needs
• Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Scrub color is teal top and black bottom
• Parking is available at a one-time cost of $20 for a parking pass (nights and weekends only)
