Job Overview

Location: Santa Monica, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: Not required
Floating: May float to postpartum
RTO: Must be included at time of submission

Unit Details

4 antepartum rooms
9 labor / high-risk beds
3 triage beds
May cover postpartum if needed
Experience with fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum couplet care is part of the role

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery experience with 2 years of experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring or AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM
FHM
Fetal heart rate monitoring experience
High-risk pregnancy monitoring experience
Postpartum couplet care experience (newborn and maternal care)

Additional Notes

Local radius is 50 miles
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion
Guaranteed hours are subject to facility call-off policy
