Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Travel experience required
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience
Clinical Setting
- High-acuity emergency department
- Level 3 trauma center
- Comprehensive stroke center
- Regional cardiac center
- 68-bed unit with private rooms, super track, psych, and trauma areas
Additional Notes
- Epic familiarity required
- No block schedule guaranteed
- Parking available at no charge
- Orientation includes clinical orientation and unit shadowing
- SANE experience may be asked about, and comfort caring for a patient needing that exam may be discussed
