Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Aurora, Colorado
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating shifts
• 36 staffed beds
• Epic charting
• Navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Teaching Hospital setting

Unit Details

• MS Tele unit
• UCH surgical oncology unit
• Majority of patients are abdominal or pelvic oncology cases, including Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, and Stomach
• Unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions or care for post-op milestones
• No Chemotherapy or Biotherapy is administered on this unit

Scheduling / Float

• Floating is required as needed and may include sister facilities
• On-call is not required
• 10 RTO days max approved
• RTO is not allowed during:

  • October 25 – November 4, 2026
  • November 22 – December 2, 2026
  • December 20 – January 3, 2027

• Candidates should have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
• Local candidates living within 75 miles are subject to a local bill rate, but pay details are not included here
