Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory Therapy
Facility size: 240 beds
Respiratory Therapy staff: 15 RRTs
Minimum staffing: 3 RRTs on day shift, 3 RRTs on night shift
Patient load: 30-40 points average per shift
Equipment: PB 840 ventilators in ICU
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Administer respiratory treatments
Ventilator setup and management
Assist with intubation
Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) sampling
Patient and staff education
All respiratory therapy procedures across Emergency Department, Pediatrics, ICU, NICU, Medical, and Surgical units

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado
Minimum 0.5 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC
De-escalation skills in healthcare settings
