Registered Nurse (Med Surg) - Travel Assignment

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care.
Patient ratio typically 1:6.
Occasional care of non-critical pediatric patients on the floor.
Floating and call duties required; call only occurs for census flex prior to scheduled shift if census is low.
EMR system used: MedHost.
Scrub color: Any color allowed.
Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if requested in submission.
48-hour guarantees are not approved.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current BLS certification

Additional Information

Night shift with floating and call responsibilities.
No regular on-call schedule except for census flex situations.
Candidates must be prepared for a general med-surg nursing role with some pediatric exposure.
