Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

• Statesboro, Georgia

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  OR
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Call required: 1-2 nights per week (1st and 2nd call), plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks

• Operating Room with 9 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• EMR system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Green

Job Description

• Provide circulating nursing care in the Operating Room, including pulling supplies and equipment for cases
• Assist surgeons by scrubbing and supporting during surgical procedures
• Communicate with families and update physician preference cards
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)
