Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts

Job Summary

• Hospital-based registered nurse role providing care for patients with a range of health problems, from simple to complex.
• Assigned to a group of patients and responsible for documenting responses to treatment, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and managing IV infusions and blood products.
• Works with patients and families on care plans, discharge needs, and hospital procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Neuro ICU (1 year of experience)
• Neuro ICU experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Skills

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills
