Respiratory Therapist Position - Hartford, Connecticut

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification

Health and Safety Requirements

Fit Test
COVID-19 Vaccine (proof of booster by Sept 2025, or declination/exemption except for CA or IL)
MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
Hepatitis B vaccination series (at least first shot prior to start)
Influenza Vaccine (optional)
2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within last year for CT)
Varicella (proof of vaccination or IgG titer)
Physical/Health Statement (exam within last year confirming fitness to work)
Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen (completed within 30 days of start; no THC)

Professional and Compliance Requirements

Signed Code of Conduct form
Completed I9 form
Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
Integrity and Audit Services Form (signed shortly before start)
Specialty Specific Competency Testing (completed within last year)
Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years; SSN verification; dated within 30 days)
Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 30 days
OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check within 30 days
Joint Commission CORE Exam (within last year)
NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days
System Access Form (completed and uploaded one week before start)
