Day shift, 3x12 hours
7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Holiday rotation

Unit / Float Scope

Float within scope to all Pediatric units in SJCH: CVPICU, NICU, PICU

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in South Carolina
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
2 years of Critical Care Float experience
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience

Preferred Qualifications

ECMO
CRRT

Additional Notes

Ratios: 1:2 / 1:3
Block schedule may be accommodated with manager approval, depending on unit needs
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission and is subject to unit needs
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
