Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- 13-week assignment
- Day/evening schedule, 8-hour shifts
- Rotating start times between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
- Weeknight call required
- May need to stay past the end of shift to finish the day’s schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Perform moderate sedation in procedure
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care across all levels, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery
- Recover sedated GI and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- 2 years of endoscopy experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience performing moderate sedation in endoscopic procedures
- Experience recovering sedated GI procedures (ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy)
- Experience with RN-driven sedation assessment using Ramsay Sedation Scale
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar size hospital
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Experience with Epic
