Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
- Orientation dates available starting from May through November.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.
- BLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- Work history/resume.
- One supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (local candidates accepted with a rate adjustment).
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
- Comfort and experience caring for neuro and surgical patients within a medical-surgical unit.
Additional Information
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Charge/preceptor pay available.
