Unit Details

• Unit size: 20 to 34 beds, depending on unit
• Patient ratio: 1:6, typically

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Active American Heart Association ACLS
• NIHSS
• Driver's License
• Willingness to float to any MS unit

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech Expanse experience

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• No block scheduling
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
  • New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after
• 36HR GT is not available for this need
• Traveler must be pre-closed on a 48HR GT before upload
• Must include at least two specific interview date/time options
• Travelers within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Perm address must be included in profile
• Voicemail must be set up on the traveler’s phone
• 8 hours non-billable orientation
• Dress code: personal scrubs of any color
