Role Summary
13-week night shift contract in the adult unit, with 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week.
Unit / Setting
- Adult psychiatric care in two secure inpatient behavioral health units:
- Adult Psychiatric Services (APS): 16-bed unit
- Behavioral Medicine Services (BMS): 10-bed unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of psychiatric experience
- Psychiatric experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS

- The adult unit serves adults with a range of mental health challenges, including more acute cases
- Average length of stay is 5 to 7 days
- The units are secure and safety-focused
- Amenities include private and semi-private rooms, private bathrooms, multiple activity rooms, group rooms, a comfort room, outdoor recreation space, meals, snacks, and therapeutic activities and groups
