• Travel assignment in Chandler, Arizona

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
• Hours: 36 per week

Unit Details

• Labor and Delivery unit
• 18 LDRP beds, 14-bed OB triage, and 8-bed Antepartum
• 2 fully equipped ORs for C-sections
• Average deliveries: 8-10/day; 322-344/month; 3863/year

Required Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Arizona license or compact license
• Experience with C-sections
• Computer charting experience
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting an offer, with 2 max attempts
• Must pass a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
• COVID vaccine required, or declination form with appropriate documentation and hospital approval

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner preferred for computer charting experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

• 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Holidays as needed
• Floating to MB/PP when needed
• First to float
• Must be able to confidently circulate and recover C-sections
• Titrates Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate per protocol

Clinical Environment

• OB Hospitalist in house
• RT 24/7
• Anesthesia in house 24/7
• Pharmacy 24/7
• IV team available if needed
• Fetal Link EFM system
• Blue scrubs
• No tele
• No vents
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are mostly 2:1 depending on acuity; Antepartum can be 4:1; C-sections 1:1
