Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Case Management (8 years of experience)
• Case Management experience within the last year
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Knowledge of basic ICD-9 and CPT coding
• Care Manager experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Case Management certification by a recognized certifying organization such as NCQA or CCMC

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week
• Shift will be discussed at interview

Role Summary

• Manages patient progression of care, promotes evidence-based protocols, ensures appropriateness of interventions, and expedites care delivery for admitted patients
• Directs patient care services to support timely and appropriate discharge
• Reviews patient records, evaluates patient progress, and supports utilization review, case management, discharge planning, and quality review functions
• Performs tumor registry functions
• Does not have supervisory responsibilities
