Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Ocala, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), weekdays with rotating call
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Overview

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Labs: 3
Patient Ratio: 3:1
Equipment: GE lab, Impella, Balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
Documentation System: Merge Hemo
Floating Policy: May cover nearby hospital for STEMI call
Procedures: Right and left heart catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
Dress Code: Provided OR scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Electrophysiology Technician experience

Scheduling & Call

Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week
Call: Rotating call required, including STEMI call coverage

Additional Information

Patient experience requirement: Minimal 2 years of lab experience
May be required to float to a sister hospital for STEMI call coverage
