RN - Post Partum/Mom Baby

Overview

Travel RN role in Asheville, North Carolina.
Unit: Mother Baby Unit.
34 private couplet rooms.
36 hours per week.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Post Partum experience within the last year.
2 years of Post Partum experience.
BLS.
NRP.

Preferred

Travel experience.
Caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post delivery.
STABLE certification.

Unit Details

Patient ratio: 1:3-4 couplets.
Equipment includes Alaris pumps and Bilirubin blankets/lights.
EMR: Cerner.
Typical procedures include circumcisions.

Floating

May float as helping hands to L&D and NICU.

Schedule

Weekends required.
No call shifts.

Work Environment

Team player / loves to teach.
