Full-time
Night shift: 7 PM–7 AM
1 open position
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
1 year of experience in CCU - Coronary Care
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with CABGs (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts)
Experience with IMPELLA devices
Experience with Balloon Pump devices
Experience with Arctic Sun devices
Experience with TABLO XT/CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
Experience caring for high-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and complex drips

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
Epic experience
Experience in the related nursing specialty
Experience in a Critical Care setting

Clinical Experience

CABGs
Recovery of post cardiothoracic surgery patients fresh out of OR
IMPELLA
Balloon Pump
Artic sun
TABLO XT / CRRT
High-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and drips

Additional Notes

New graduates are accepted
Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member
Initial onboarding includes organizational entry competency validation and a Critical Care Department-specific competency validation
Annual competency verification is required
