Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred qualifications

CAPA or CPAN certification
Orthopedic total joint, spine, or sports medicine experience

Unit details

Small perioperative unit with pre/post-op beds, PACU bays, operating rooms, and a procedure room
Typical patient ratios: 1–2 in PACU; 1 pre-op; 2–3 post-op Phase II

Procedures

Total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements
Orthopedic spine procedures
Pain management
Orthopedic sports medicine procedures

Work environment

Team-based setting with multiple assignments throughout the day
Professional, self-motivated, organized, and strong communication skills are valued

Dress code

Ceil blue scrubs
