Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (Travel Assignment)

Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: Operating Room
Number of Beds: 23
Number of Staff: 85+
Patient Ratio: 1:1
EMR System: Meditech
Department staffed 24/7 with call required
Shift Lengths: 10 and 12 hour shifts
Dress Code: Scrubs in ceil blue or royal blue for nurses

Typical Procedures

Neuro / Spine surgeries
Orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements, and revisions
Robotic surgeries (gynecology, colorectal, thoracic, urology)
Plastic surgeries
Level 1 Trauma cases

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience in Orthopedics, Plastics, and Trauma
