Physical Therapist Travel Job – Gainesville, Georgia
Position Overview
- Role: Physical Therapist
- Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day with weekend rotation
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed (including 8 weekend hours)
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: None
Facility & Unit Information
- Facility Type: Free-standing rehabilitation facility, 2-story building
- Number of Beds: 40
- Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per therapist
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with neurological, orthopedic, debility, amputee, and critical illness diagnoses
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Stroke (CVA), hip fracture, debility
- Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: EPIC (read-only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
- ABCP certification
Work Environment & Culture
- Personality Fit: Down-to-earth, enjoys engaging and having fun with treatments and coworkers, able to take a joke
